If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.
1. Authorized Data Access and Automation
1.1 Agent Authorization. By entering your Permanent Account Number (PAN) and corresponding official tax portal credentials into our Platform, you explicitly authorize and mandate myutils.me to act as your authorized agent and representative. This specific authorization is granted for the sole and exclusive purpose of securely accessing the official government tax portal on your behalf to retrieve your data.
1.2 Automated Synchronization. You understand and agree that the Platform utilizes secure automated scripts to retrieve your Income Tax Returns (ITR), financial data, profiles, and associated historical records. You explicitly grant us permission to perform these actions automatically in the background to keep your dashboard updated, until such time as you choose to delete the profile from your account.
2. Your Responsibilities and Account Security
2.1 You represent and warrant that you have the legal right and authority to provide the credentials and PANs you enter into our system. You affirm that the information belongs to you, or that you have obtained explicit, written authorization from the respective individual or business entity to act on their behalf and manage their tax profiles.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your myutils.me account password. You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful, unauthorized, or fraudulent purposes. Any violation of these responsibilities may result in immediate termination of your account access without prior notice.
3. Data Accuracy and Platform Availability
3.1 Data Source Reliability. The financial and tax data presented on your dashboard is fetched directly from the official government tax portal. We act purely as a software intermediary to organize and display this data in a user-friendly format.
3.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the fetched data. Any discrepancies or errors within the data are solely the responsibility of the official portal. myutils.me shall not be held liable for any financial decisions, tax filings, penalties, or damages incurred based on the data displayed on our interface. If you notice any errors or mismatches in the data shown, kindly re-sync your profile from the dashboard or verify the data directly on the official income tax portal, which remains the authoritative source of truth.
3.3 Service Uptime. Our automated syncing relies entirely on the availability and responsiveness of the official tax portal. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and accept no liability for portal downtimes, maintenance periods, or third-party infrastructure failures that may temporarily delay your data synchronization.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall myutils.me, its directors, employees, partners, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Platform.
5. Account Termination and Profile Deletion
You have the right to terminate your account or delete individual PAN profiles at any time using the features available in your dashboard. Upon deleting a profile, our system will immediately cease all automated synchronization and data retrieval for that specific PAN, and it will be removed from your active account interface.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. By continuing to access or use our Platform after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
8. Independent Service and No Government Affiliation
myutils.me is an independent, third-party software service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Government of India, the Income Tax Department, the e-Filing Portal, or any other government agency or department. This Platform is not an official government website, and no content on it should be interpreted as official government communication, approval, or endorsement.
All data displayed is retrieved from the official income tax portal based on the credentials and details you provide. myutils.me acts solely as a software intermediary to organize and present that data and does not originate or independently verify it.
9. Advertising and Analytics
The Platform may display third-party advertisements and use analytics and diagnostics tools (including but not limited to Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Sentry, Google AdSense, and Amazon Associates) to operate, measure, and improve the service. These services may collect anonymized usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
